This comprehensive training workshop aims to improve the operational efficiency of professionals working in the Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM). This training is tailored for aspiring broadcasters, media professionals, and individuals interested in the art of audio and visual communication.

 

Training Content

The training program typically covers the following key areas:

  1. Introduction to Broadcasting:

    • Overview of the history and evolution of radio and television.
    • Understanding different broadcasting formats and genres.
  2. Technical Skills Development:

    • Hands-on training in operating broadcasting equipment (microphones, cameras, mixers, etc.).
    • Introduction to audio and video editing software.
    • Learning about transmission technologies and digital broadcasting.
  3. Content Creation and Production:

    • Writing for radio and television, including news scripts, promotional material, and feature stories.
    • Developing storytelling techniques for various audiences.
    • Hands-on production of radio shows and TV segments.

    • Principles of journalism and ethical reporting.
    • Techniques for conducting interviews and gathering information.
    • Understanding the role of broadcasters in society and their responsibilities.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this training, participants will be able to: Define what is risk management; Identify risks associated with the process of each divisions; Determine controls to address the identified risk; and Apply the concepts of risks and control in managing day-to-day processes.

At the end of this training, the participants will be able to:

  1. Define Budget Execution in BARMM;
  2. Discuss the steps in the Budget Execution Phase;
  3. Demonstrate how to prepare a complete set of Budget Execution Documents (BEDs);
  4. Analyze the role of BEDs in the Budget Cycle;
  5. Relate the BEDs with the Budget and Financial Accountability Reports (BFARs); and
  6. Develop strategies on how to effectively implement programs as to how these are planned in the BEDs.

Effective cash management is critical for public financial stability, efficient service delivery, and the overall credibility of the government's fiscal operations. By enhancing cash management competencies through training, the Bangsamoro Treasury System can strengthen its fiscal framework, improve service delivery, and contribute to a stable and prosperous economy.

The course will equip learners with a foundational understanding of Islamic finance and Shariah goverance, enabling them to analyze Islamic finance which can be applied in formulating  Shariah-compliant PAPs, compare Islamic finance with conventional finance, and evaluate the potential of Islamic finance to foster economic growth and social welfare in the BARMM region, ultimately contributing to the design and implementation of Islamic financial products and services within BARMM Ministries and Offices.
